Safe Transit on Campus
The mission of the Danforth Circulator Service is to assist members of the university community by transporting them to their on-campus destinations in a safe and reliable manner.
The Danforth Circulator provides transportation between destinations on the Danforth Campus from 7:40 a.m. until 1:50 a.m. (last trip), seven days a week during the academic session. The service runs approximately every twenty minutes on a continuous loop around the Danforth Campus, including the residential areas.
Look for the "Circulator" sign posted on blue light phones or access the Circulator schedule online.
To provide safe travel within the university community, Washington University in St. Louis provides a free walking escort service for students, faculty, staff and visitors
Walking escorts provide service to or from any location on campus, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., during the academic year. To request this service, call (314) 935-5555.
West Campus, North Campus and Lewis Center
Escorts at the West Campus, North Campus and the Lewis Center are provided by contract security personnel and may be obtained by calling the Washington University Police Dept. at (314) 935-5555.
The Medical Escort service is provided to meet the special transportation needs of students and others in the university community with a disability or medical condition requiring specialized assistance. Pre-authorization from the Habif Health & Wellness Center is required to utilize this service. The Medical Escort service operates only during the academic session: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:20 p.m.

- Once pre-authorized, passengers must call the dispatch center at (314) 935-7777 to request a trip.
