While all WUPD officers take a proactive approach to preventing crime, one of the Crime Prevention Office’s primary duties is to provide educational programs and crime prevention tips to our campus community.
We’re available to provide training in many areas and, at your request, we can tailor classes to suit your group’s particular needs.
We provide training on numerous topics including (but not limited to):
- personal safety
- theft and risk reduction techniques
- pedestrian safety
- vehicle safety
- home or apartment safety
- international and domestic travel safety
- workplace violence and prevention
- active shooting/hostage incidents
