Lost and Found
||The Washington University Police Department provides a lost and found service for property on the Danforth Campus. |
||Located at the WUPD, first floor of Lien Residential Hall on the South 40. |
||Item pick-up is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by special arrangement. Items are held 45 days.|
Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to register serialized property
for ease of identification in the event the item is ever lost or stolen.
Please complete a lost item report
to alert us to missing property.
Please do not use the lost & found service if:
- you feel your property was stolen, as opposed to lost. Please contact us to file an official report.
- you have lost your WUSTL ID card. Please call or visit us to deactivate your card.
- Due to the large number of waterbottles turned in they are not posted on the database of found items. If you are looking for a lost waterbottle, please come in to the Campus PD during the above item pick up hours to identify and claim. Bottles are held 14 days.
- Do not enter your item as Lost if you see there is already an entry of it being found. If it's already posted as found, come in and pick it up. See hours above.
Please deliver found items to the Police Department
or forward them to Campus Mail Box 1038
. Anyone claiming property must show a student ID or a driver’s license.
