Personal Safety

Ensuring your safety is our top priority. Though WashU maintains a relatively safe campus, it is ultimately up to you to protect yourself.

Self-Defense Programs

We offer several self-defense programs including the nationally recognized RAD self-defense program for both men and women.

Bear Patrol

Student Bear Patrol members are eyes and ears for the Danforth Campus and provide walking and golf cart escorts on campus to fellow students, faculty and staff. Request an escort between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. by calling 314-935-5555.
