Fingerprinting Services

Hours for walk-in fingerprint requests

Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. (except holidays). After posted hours, requests will only be handled if an authorized staff member is available. To schedule large groups or classes for fingerprinting, contact Sergeant Geoff Himstedt​ at 314-935-5084.​

Fingerprinting services for the Medical School Campus are by appointment only, through the Protective Services Department, located at 4590 Children’s Place. To schedule an appointment, go to https://facilities.med.wustl.edu/security-new/services-provided/

Requirements

  • Driver’s License and Washington University ID.
  • Completed fingerprint card as provided by the requesting agency. If you do not have a card, a standard Applicant Fingerprint Card (FD-258) will be provided to you. No photocopies of cards will be accepted.

WUPD will not share any paperwork/fingerprint cards nor provide background checks.​​
