Through a Washington University in St. Louis work-study program, students can become members of the Danforth Campus Bear Patrol.
Members patrol Danforth Campus at night as additional eyes and ears for the community, as well as providing escorts to fellow students, faculty and staff.
The Bear Patrol provides walking and golf cart escorts from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on campus.
Request an escort by calling 314-935-5555.
All Bear Patrol members wear distinctive vests and are equipped with radios to maintain constant contact with WashU PD.
To join the Bear Patrol or to learn more about the services the Patrol provides, please contact Corporal Ed Bartelme at erbartelme@wustl.edu
